flyWithCE Flight Recorder FR300 and flyWithCE Logbook
Product Overview
flyWithCE Flight Recorder FR300 is the smallest and the lowest priced flight
recorder on the market. With built in rechargeable battery and GPS antenna it is
completely autonomous. The device can charged and also be powered from a PC USB port or any other device with a 5v USB output. It can record for over 70 hours with 1 second interval (recording interval can be changed). An event button is provided.
Together with the flyWithCE Flight Recorder, the user will also receive the flyWithCE Logbook application which is simple utility for downloading flights and also for preparing flight declarations, if used for gliding. This program is also a simple logbook and enables the user to simply open the flight with an IGC viewer (SeeYou, Strepla, WinPilot 3D), or in Google Earth.

Applications
Gliding
There is a large group of pilots who are flying just for fun, who have different requirements to “competition” pilots. Many club gliders do not have flight recorders fitted, and the FR300 is ideal for those pilots who want to record their flight and easily download it at home on their PC.
General aviation
Flight schools can simply hand out the FR300 to solo pilots renting their aircraft for post analysis. Hire and Fly operators can keep track of how their aircraft are being used. Charter operators can show exact miles flown and time on the ground at remote destinations.
The FR300’s very small size, internal battery and ease of use, make it ideal for use by paraglider and hang glider pilots and even in small UAV testing. |
